Louise Smart from Ellensburg, Washington shared a word with us that I didn’t know.
The word is Pobbies, P-O-B-B-I-E-S.
Pobbies refers to a mix of warm milk, bread, and sugar.
She says British mothers used to give it to their child to fill them up or if they weren’t feeling well.
But she says that her mother used to make up a batch to give to the family of hedgehogs that lived in the front garden.
