Yomango

Yomango
n.— «The source of inspiration is Yomango, a movement that began in Spain (the word means “I steal” in Spanish slang) and has spread to Germany and South America. The movement calls for the “liberation of labels” and for resistance to multinational conglomerates by means of shoplifting. Its activists hold workshops and “fashion shows” in which designer clothes that have been nicked from stores are displayed.» —“Global shoplifters, Israeli branch” by Yotam Feldman Haaretz (Israel) July 28, 2005.
