In English we talk about just the tip of the iceberg but in Afrikaans there’s an expression that translates as just the tips of the hippopotamus’s ears. Oh that’s that’s threatening.

If you know what you’re looking at, I know I know right. You see those little sweet little ears sticking up over the water, but underneath there’s a lot going on. Yeah, with that kind of Shrek whittle that they do where they kind of turn in odd directions. Oh yeah.

They’re powerful too. Dangerous predators.
