Grant, I came across a word from the 1600s that I think deserves reviving.

And that word is mirabiliary.

Mirabiliary. I could guess based on the root parts of that, but I don’t really know what that means.

Well, let me spell it for you first. It’s M-I-R-A-B-I-L-I-A-R-Y.
