Here’s a word that I think is worth reviving. It’s kinch, k-e-n-c-h. To kinch in the 13th century meant to laugh loudly. I love that. Okay, kinching, that’s funny. Part of my family has the family named Kinchin, so I wonder if they were all laughers.
