  • I would like to say that I am the one that made up the word Spokompton. I first started using that word for the city back in 1989. Since then I have heard Spokompton used many times, by many people, who think that they made up the word. All of that is false.It’s too bad I didn’t copyright the word. I could have made a killing off of the naming rights. DAMN IT! lol oh well.

  • Even if you were the person who made up that word, you wouldn’t have made a dime on it. You don’t make money by coining words, copyrighting them, and then charging people to use them. That’s not how it works.
