Martha Jim from Baraboo, Wisconsin writes with a question I think we’ve encountered before, but it probably deserves a second airing.
He says, should my office manager answer the work telephone pronouncing the word F-I-N-A-N-C-I-A-L with a long or short-sounding I? What do you think? Financial or financial? Yeah, financial or financial.
Jim, the answer is both. Both are acceptable. You pick one and stick with it and you’re just fine.
Well, that was easy. Yeah. I wish all the questions were that easy.
