Transcript of “Piff-Paff”
We got an email from Whitney Quisenberry, who was responding to our conversation about tchotchkes, you know, those little knickknacks.
Whitney says, did you know in England they’re also called piff-paff, as in my grandmother’s corner cupboard is packed with piff-paff from her holidays.
Piff-paff.
Yeah.
Yeah, I’ve always thought of that term as a term for jargon.
You know, sort of it comes from the interjection, piff, you know, this poof.
Piff path.
Oh, I like that.
That also sounds like the name of a baby dragon.
Little piff path with his puffs of smoke.
Love it.
Send us your piff path.
