I’ve read this term in Maxim four (or three years ago), and they described the scene at Japanese ‘sex-resturants’ as nimble ladies who are kept under ‘glass’-top tables where punters come to eat and watch the lady turn ‘body-tricks’ every five minutes or so.
I Russia, I know of something to that same effect, but the term escapes my memory.
