Well, we’re always collecting examples of pranks played on newbies, especially in the military.
We got some from Cara Cast, who lives in Lemon Grove, California.
She said that when she was in the Marine Corps in communication electronics, newbies were told to go get a bucket of frequency grease or go get a 100 yards of flight line, flight line being the designated area on an airfield where the aircraft are parked.
Gotcha.
That one I’ve heard before, but I’ve not heard the bucket of frequency grease.
That’s a good one.
That’s solid.
And these are harmless pranks.
This isn’t kind of vicious body injury hazing.
