We were talking earlier about euphemisms for age, not saying exactly how old you are.
Jan Tavares wrote on our Facebook page,
It’s not quite the same, but my mother-in-law says her grown children are from her husband’s first marriage to her.
I think that’s pretty clever.
All these people are thinking that she’s younger than she is.
Oh, so you’re the trophy wife.
You must be very young.
