fleet special
n.— «What this says about today’s Impala is that it is basically what I call a “fleet special.” In other words, a car destined to be on rental car lots across North America.» —“2006 Chevrolet Impala Road Test” by Mathieu St-Pierre Auto123.com Mar. 8, 2006. (source: Double-Tongued Dictionary)
Interesting definition. Before I had a colonoscopy a few years ago I thought I read somewhere about taking the “fleet special” beforehand, referring to the Fleet bowel preparation fluid. But it was probably written by some rectal journalist.
