What's a discursion?

The description of this forum is "Questions, comments, and discursions about the radio show, its episodes, its production, its staff, etc.".

Could it be that a typo snuck in there, or is that a clever new word to learn? Maybe a mix of discussion and excursion (a long and winding kind of discussion)? 😉

In 1828 Noah Webster defined a “discursion” as a running or rambling about, but I think the more modern definitions are more accurate to the meaning we intended.

Oops. I really did think I'd come upon a typo, silly me. embarassed Thanks for the new (old) word. Keep up the excellent work on the show - it's one of my favorite podcasts.
