I have a young student (1st grade)who is interested in the history of language. I find and showed him this language tree.
He was fascinated, and his teacher and I (the librarian) helped him figure it out.
But now he is interested in the history of Korean and other Asian languages.
He has asked for an Austro-Asiatic Language tree, but I cannot find any that even I can understand. His curiosity is bigger than his reading comprehension, so we are having trouble finding resources.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Greetings EBredberg, and welcome to the forum. That's not the easiest language tree to decipher. Check out this one that came up in a thread last year:

Several forum members thought it was a lot easier to understand, and more artistic, than the standard language trees. Hope it helps!
