You know, Grant, earlier in the show when we were talking with Allison, you were talking about Dan Rather-isms, these little things that he comes up with.
And I have to say that my favorite of all time was when he described something as being shakier than cafeteria jello. That just brought back so many memories of going through cafeteria lines and that jello in cubes and the little glass things.
Yeah, and they’re a little bit wobbly probably because they’re more wobbly than what I had at home probably because they’re watered down, right?
Oh, maybe, yeah.
Cafeteria Jell-O. It’s shakier than the Jell-O that we made at home.
So my favorite, rather, is I’m going to remember now a lot of these came to light when he was doing this extensive coverage after the debacle of the 2000 election. Non-stop.
And he’s talking about his endurance and his ability and willingness to sit there and keep reporting the news as it happens. And he says, when it comes to reporting a race like this, I’m a long-distance runner and an all-day hunter.
And I just love that. It’s just the two different ideas of a guy who’s going to hunt down the story and just keep going until, you know, past the marathon.
Past the Red Bull. Triple marathon, yeah.
