…or as I call it: ‘repetition'.

This is happening in three distinct manners:

1) PIN Number, ATM Machine, and HIV Virus (and I am sure there are more).
2) People who say things twice for no good reason, as in a response to ‘how are you?' being ‘doin great! doin great!'.
3) And my latest peeve…folks who say ‘reiterate' in lieu of repeat. I am forever pointing out to my friends (and many strangers) that to reiterate, you must have said something twice already.

How does everyone feel about coining ‘repetetition' as a phrase to describe these phenomena?! =^)
