Due to an error, a re-run of the program aired in San Diego today in place of the first show of the new season. We are assured that the proper show will air tomorrow at 10 a.m.

This is just another in a long line of missteps by KPBS. Once a premier public radio station in the country, KPBS is now a poorly run operation. Take the dumping of your program, for example. Add to it: Dead air, wrong programming, chopped sentences (most probably due to cheap, crappy automation) and "Happy Talk" local morning news (would the same news staffer reading a funding credit for, say, a developer, also be expected to report on that developer?) KPBS needs some new management.
Sorry for the rant...I'm glad "A Way With Words" has broken away and found new life. I hope you'll be doing more original programming (it seemed I was always hearing repeats of previous programs.) Good luck to you!

Good luck to you!<<< Thanks for the words of encouragement, Tom. We're hard at work to make sure you'll indeed be hearing a whole new season. We couldn't be happier to be back!

Yay! You're back! Congratulations. You've been missed.

I think going out "on your own" will be a very good move. I hope you have many years of increasing success.

(I was the one who called about wormer/dewormer, ages ago.)
