This started a while back. I subscribe to the show using iTunes and now when trying to download episodes I get the message. There was a problem adding... . The file might be corrupted, or a file type that iTues cannot play. I have removed the subscription and re-subscribed which did not work. I seached Apple's site and the web for help and could not find anything.

John, we are having no other reports of problems. I've checked all of our feeds and they seem to be intact and running smoothly, so I'm going to assume the problem is with your computer or network.

What URL are you using to subscribe with? Are you on Windows or Mac? Are you clicking on the iTunes link on our site are you subscribing directly with the RSS feed URL?

Also, are you subscribing at work or at home? Some offices have network filters which prevent the loading of some podcast feeds in iTunes.

This is the easiest way to subscribe:

In iTunes, go to the Advanced menu. Under that, choose "Subscribe to Podcast..."

In the little window that comes up, paste in this URL:

That should be it, but if not, try this:

Go into iTunes.

Click on the Podcast icon in the list towards the upper left under "Library."

After the list of your podcast subscriptions appears, click on "Podcast Directory" in the lower right corner. That will take you to Apple's podcast listings at the iTunes Store.

Once there, go to the upper right of iTunes to the search field, which should say underneath it "Search iTunes Store." Search for A Way with Words there.

In the search results window, podcasts will be grouped together. You'll find A Way with Words there. Click on the "subscribe" button next to it.

If that doesn't work, let me know. I'd be happy to help you get to the bottom of this.
