Greetings, Martha and Grant!

Here's one faithful listener of your in Taiwan. Love, love your show! I look forward to seeing the new episode of "A Way with Words" being downloaded into my iTunes library every Monday. 🙂

Raves aside, the thing is: There've been several occasions where I really feel like to post a link to certain issue of your newsletter on, say, a microblogging site like Twitter or Jaiku, but couldn't, because you don't have them on your site, and I don't feel like going through the trouble of creating a webpage for it. Though there's forwarding, but I don't necessarily have the email addresses of people who I think might be interested in it, and even if I do, I don't necessarily find it unintrusive to forward it. I honestly can't remember when's the last time I forwarded anything to anyone, except to my mom, who doesn't use social networking sites. If I want to share anything, I just post the link with a brief description on any site I participate in wherever I think there's a possible audience. Forwarding isn't exactly passé, but it's more like shoving stuff down people's throat compared to just posting the link.

While you also give each snippet an individual thread in the forum, somehow I find the context somewhat lost compared to reading it in the original email and much less exciting to read.

So, please consider the suggestion. Plus, there's the advantage of searchability....

Kudos. 🙂

Nign, all of the newsletters are already in the "Inside the Radio Show" forum.

Ugh.

Fault it on my ineptitude.

Thanks Grant!!

Then... perhaps a link to the archive on the "Get the Newsletter" page?

Kudos once more. : )

Thanks again, Grant. : )

And, btw, I feel really, really guilty to have a linguist doing customer service for me... Sincere apologies. Such a waste of talent. I should have looked around more.

I love the show not just because of its rich content, but the attitude that you and Martha have, the way you're open to anything and treat every word with genuine curiosity and passion. It really draws people in.

Still more thanks. : )
