The actor Ben Stiller once said of his blonde screen buddy Owen Wilson that he can't find anything with Wilson that helps dismiss the myth about blondes.  Likewise I have prejudices about leaders, but which, far from dismissed, keep being confirmed.  Here's a recent example:  (about potential clash with Rusia)

We agreed on the imperative to, as soon as possible, have a military-to-military de-conflicting discussion.

Before she developed familial Alzheimer's, Bonnie always pointed out that blondes were smarter than average, since hair color is a choice, and brunettes that don't choose to bleach their hair are too dumb to realize that blondes get preferential treatment.

I think the stories about redheads is another self-fulfilling prophesy.  Women who color their hair red are sending a signal that they want to receive, ahem, "interesting offers."

Myself, I don't have whitish gray hair and beard; it's "platinum blond", as I want to "have more fun".

Since I have never even considered changing my hair color, have I made a choice? And is my naturally-redheaded wife sending signals? If so, where can I get the codebook?

Finding the codebook is a much bigger task than deciphering the Enigma machine and its successors like 256-bit AES encryption and the key randomly changes.frown

A quick online search attributes that quote to US Secretary of State John Kerry. His hair is gray now, but in photos of him when he was younger he does indeed look like a blonde. Not sure if that was your meaning, but his quote is definitely political double-speak.

After reading the article that contains that quote, I'm still trying to figure out who the "we" is that agreed a discussion was in order. Was it Kerry and Putin? Or was it only an agreement within the Obama administration?

Politicians do indeed have a way of saying lots of words that add up to essentially nothing. Sad state of affairs.
