Digital content vs. videos: jargon in the computer industry

In the New York Times, David Pogue rants a little about jargon in the computer industry and some of his readers chime in.

I'm not very sympathetic, however, as I think that nearly all rants against jargon either a) demonstrate a (sometimes intentional) disregard of the specific and subtle differences in certain terms or b) are mostly complaints from outsiders about the language necessary to do business within an industry that they are not a part of. I like David, but as a couple of his readers point out, "digital content" covers a lot more than "movies."
