"Bee's knees/Cat's whiskers"

I am curious about a book that was recommended by Grant on the show, which I believe was about the origin and etymology of phrases like "bee's knees" and "cat's whiskers". I remember it being a book that would provide insight and entertainment to many such topics and questions as the phrases above. Could someone suggest possible titles and/or authors?
