There is a word that describes a person that loves to share information almost to a point of infatuation. I heard the word a few years ago and then forgot it and now it's driving me crazy. Any help?
I will suggest "maven". Some dictionaries do not mention the obsession of imparting their wisdom and even when it is mentioned, it is not emphasized. Just a suggestion. Check "maven" in Wikipedia and see if it is what you have in mind.
Could it be philodox? That's one of my favorite words, especially since I know several people who qualify for this noun, meaning someone in love with his/her own opinions and expounds on them.
