I truly enjoyed your description of "trucking." I followed the on-air instructions, and found myself looking just like my Dad! (who was born in 1918). I don't remember ever seeing him dance seriously; this was just his little strut to make us giggle. He also played golf for 72 years, and he NEVER "golfed"; we kids were not even allowed to use that word. He always "played golf" - even in the falling snow on Christmas Day.
