The Peril Of Financial Linguistics. Daniel Gross starts and finishes with a naive take on jargon, after opening with a cliched quote from George Orwell about language, only slightly better than quoting a dictionary in the lede."Apparently, 'legacy' derives from an ancient root meaning 'it wasn't my fault and I should still get a bonus this year.'" Somebody needs to teach Gross "term of art."
