I overheard a long-time KPBS supporter comment that A Way with Words was going to be taken off the air. I haven't heard any mention of this on the show. Can you confirm? Thanks.
Nope, the show is not being taken off the air. In August the management of KPBS in San Diego decided the station would no longer produce the show. So, Martha and I, and our producer Stefanie Levine, formed a production company to handle everything.
The first new shows of the new season air this weekend, November 24th and 25th! The program will still air in San Diego on KPBS FM 89.5 Saturdays from noon to 1 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. You can find more stations and listen to podcasts here.
