Recently I've heard someone using "having that said" to introduce a contrast to something previously stated. I thought it was a little mistake, as it came from a non-native speaker, and that proabaly he'd meant to say "having said that" or "that said".
Then I heard a native speaker use "having that said" in the same way. So I started wondering... Is this an acceptable alternative, maybe it's new or more common in certain regions? It sounds strange to me, but maybe that's just because I'm a stranger in a lot of places. 😉

It is distracting because it reminds of the other 2 forms, especially the more common 'that said.' Â The distraction wouldn't be so bad with something similar but sounding more distinctive, like 'having that out of the way...'
By the way posting with iPad has recently become harder, the keyboard stopping a lot, and it all started about a week ago with the font buttons starting to appear on iPad.
