Big mosquitoes? Back in Wisconsin when I was growing up, we called them the "Wisconsin State Bird" you could even get T-shirts with that logo. Still can. I recall a joke my dad used to tell ... two mosquitoes were carrying off a cow to feast on its blood. One mosquito asks "Where should we take her?" The other mosquito replies "Somewhere safe, so the big guys don't take her away from us."
