Eggs and Meat vs. Meat and Eggs

There was a recent discussion on show about which is the "correct" order: which came first, the meat or the eggs. Growing up, it was always the first first, like "bacon and eggs". But since I first listened to Tom Waits' song "Eggs and Sausage", I've put the eggs first. Go ahead and give it a listen. I'm sure he'll show you the light, too.
