I am a bit behind the times on this topic, but I just became aware of a remarkable bedtime story:

I have a quibble with some irregularities in the meter, but overall, it's worth a reading. My niece, a mother of twins, has supplied to me a link to such a reading by none other than Samuel L. Jackson, along with some confessional commentary. Here
