Martha, Grant or editor,
I have an expression, a toast, that I have only heard in Wyoming:
“Here's looking up your chap leg.â€
Do you have any idea where that might have originated?
People in Canada say that someone is in hospital
as opposed to someone is in the hospital.
Is this a regionalism or accepted usage?
Is Aunt pronounced “Ant†or “Awnt
Thanks.

Welcome, Alan. The "chap leg" expression is a new one on me! Grant may know something about chap legs, though.
We discussed the aunt/awnt question here.
Nice to have you here, Alan!
