Discussion Forum—A Way with Words, a fun radio show and podcast about language

With the proliferation of the use of "online" in the computer sense, is there any data on whether this has had an impact on New Yorkers using the phrase "standing on line?" Are New Yorkers now more likely to say they are standing "in line" than they were previously so as not to confuse being in a queue with being connected to the Internet?
