"I personally" is used frequently by Armenian undergraduate students when writing an essay.  

And sorry for editing the message above. I had written mine there by mistake and had to cut it off.

I listen to National Public Radio programs frequently, and at the end of most interviews almost every guest says, "Thanks for having me."  I understand what is meant by the phrase, but "to have" someone has more than one meaning.  Why not just say, "Thanks for inviting me"?

Guest: Oh,no, it was an honor to have been had.

Supposedly it happened on the Bob Braun TV show on the WLW family of stations in the late 1960s,
