How about these two typos clipped from the classified newspaper sections over the years?: car ad– “cream of the crap” Misc. items ad–“full size slut machines” !!!!!!!!!!!

Also, are you familiar with Richard Levy’s “Neologisms” column that runs weekly in the Washington Post? He gives a common situation and asks the readers to come up with a clever word that describes it. I came up with a winner years ago. The situation: Your car is making a strange noise, so you finally take it to the auto repair shop to have it checked. Of course, while you’re there, your car sounds perfect.

The winning word was “amnoisia.”
