Grant mentioned the name Frankie Crocker and if you're not from NYC or a radio historian it would go over your head.
Anyone in this forum from NYC can help add to this:
Frankie Crocker was a New York City DJ on WBLS-FM (World's Best Looking Sound) in the 1970s. He show always closed with Moody's Mood For Love and a statement something like "I wish you live to 100 and me 100 minus one day so I'll never know good folk like you died away..."
The man was a legend in his time.
