In cinematic terms it is a reveal. I suppose in this case reveal applies in two ways. In comedic terms it is a juxtaposition.

Yes, a reveal, except this one with its own agenda that blows away everything else. The purposely  incongruous plots- charming, no?  The ultimate reveal is the private agenda of the cameraman who is never seen.
 
 Other verb-nouns of films: a tell, a wrap, a take, a shoot.
