Blessing and Curse

Life is full of experiences and objects that are both a blessing and curse.   Is there a single word - adjective or noun - that indicates when something is a blessing and curse?   I've been searching reverse dictionaries and  the internet  with no luck.

How about bittersweet? Or possibly muddled?

And if you just want a synonym, and don't restrict it to a single word: double-edged sword.
