Bee's Knees - Pet names

I didn't see anyone volunteering pet names, so I thought I'd throw ours in. When my wife and I married, we decided we needed to give each other the usual cloying pet names, so I called her HoneyBun and she called me SweetiePie. That got old quick, so in my usual effort to destroy the English language, I flipped hers to BunnyHon and so she flipped mine to PeteySwie - spell it anyway you want. That didn't last long before we both decided to shorten things. So, I became Petey and she became Bunny. That was almost 20 years ago and we probably now use those names more than our real ones.

I am 19 and my friends and I use the terms "bee's knees" as well as "cat's pajamas" both as positive terms.
I originally thought that these are both originating in the 20's but now I know how the bee's knees came about.
What about the cat's pajamas?

How about "the cat's meow"
