I have an expression, a toast, that I have only heard in Wyoming:
“Here's looking up your chap leg.â€
Do you have any idea where that might have originated?
People in Canada say that someone is in hospital
as opposed to someone is in the hospital.
Is this a regionalism or accepted usage?
Is Aunt pronounced “Ant†or “Awnt�
