When you've saved something for a long time, throw it out, and immediately need it - is there a catch phrase for that ?

I cleaned my garage (read: closet on my apartment patio), and threw out a few large nails yesterday. I'm putting it all back together now, and would like to hang my garden tools on the wall. Of course, those nails would have worked perfectly. Is there a catchy phrase or word that describes that phenomena?
Thanks
Norman

I sure know the feeling, but I don't know of any apt phrase for it. I have three sons out on their own, but who still store stuff in our attic, basement, and garage. I am overwhelmed with kept stuff.
I am willing to try to make something up just to have a name for it.

Schadenvoid?
Hahahaha, normzone! Goodness knows I need a word for that myself!
Wait a minute, I HAD a word for that -- darn, must have thrown it out! π
This is definitely something we should discuss on the show. Thanks for the idea. We'll have to see if anyone can top Schadenvoid!
Well, if I threw it out then needed it right away, someone else's phrase might "told you so".
Hmmm... I hear there is now a "technical" word for the amount of time between when you hit the SEND key and when you realize you shouldn't have - it's called an onosecond (pronounced "Oh no" second). LOL
Maybe we'll think of a similar term for your situation.
