When girls are "guys". Jan Freeman writes in the Boston Globe about using "guys" to refer to gals.

Men are rarely dolls when in groups of two or more, but sometimes when you get one guy alone he'll do something sweet enough to earn that moniker π

While eating in a restaurant recently, I happened to catch sight of a notice in the kitchen, warning the wait staff not to address customers as "you guys." ("Folks" was the acceptable alternative.)
