This is why I generally stay away from spin media, which is getting harder to avoid in our polarized culture. Some of it can be funny and vulgar at times, which can be okay, but it bothers me when "serious" news media employ negative double entendres and innuendos. Satirical "news" shows, such as Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, are fine, because you know up front what they are. Are there conservative satirical news shows equally entertaining as the liberal ones? I am not aware of any.

Also, how far back does the protesting tactic of mailing tea bags to our representatives go? How much tea does the average congressperson receive each year?

At the risk of being considered a little immature, I wonder if any of the people involved in these events warned that "the government is going to steal your family jewels." πŸ˜†
