Stoppeth, already: Learning to love bogus archaisms. Once the fit of grammar righteousness passed, I had second thoughts. I've already put this complaint on the record, more than once; maybe it's time to move on. After all, I routinely preach tolerance of language change. And the more I learn, the less urgently my stickler sense tingles in the presence of the old usage bugbears.
