I am increasingly hearing the word enormity as a designation of size. Reporting on the Obama inauguration, the commentator described the"enormity of the crowd" I had heard they were quite well behaved, so this was a surprise. But seriously, enormity is working its way into the language as a size descriptor

Barbara, we discussed it in the middle of a recent episode and there's an active "enormity" thread that has more discussion on it.
